weecordtv is a great place to get inspired by the best new musical talent

I’ve looked before in my blog about the inspirations that keep us all going as startup entrepreneurs. They often come from outside the world of business and I know from the contact I receive that there are many people that are hugely inspired by the world of entertainment and by the stories of other entrepreneurs. Today I combine both of these areas in my blog. I bring to you www.weecordtv.com where there are music videos from independent artists for you to enjoy and be inspired by.

It isn’t always seen as a form of entrepreneurism but recording and promoting your own music has huge similarities with other areas of startup business. You need to be dedicated to your business, become a master marketer and get the exposure you need to sell your music to the wider world. www.weecordtv.com is an outlet for talented musicians to join a streaming music video channel for independent musicians. It gives independent musicians a place where they can have the same exposure and opportunities as mainstream musicians. The app (coming soon!) are supported by a social media presence-

www.weecordtv.com the app is where you go to enjoy watching what you’re listening to.

The best thing about it is that they are always looking for fresh content from music video to interviews, vlogs, or live content. This means that it becomes a conduit for the best new musical talent to get seen and heard.  This means that the website is a network for musicians to see and be seen. The result is that the best talent is spotted and promoted.

I know that startup owners are great supporters of other startup businesses and I urge you to check out the website and app and find out about the top new musical talent. There is always something to be learnt from looking at other entrepreneurs and how they strive to succeed.

I think that this is a success story waiting to happen and an inspiration for startup entrepreneurs from start to finish. Firstly you can listen to the best new music and hear it before anyone else. Then you can see the parallels between the entrepreneur musician and your own startup business. Finally you can see the entrepreneurial spirit of the website www.weecordtv.com as they look to promote the best new musical talent.

See how the half-term time off didn't stop all the startup planning

-137

It's half-term week and roughly-speaking a week off from many parts of the startup planning. I've not switched off completely and sitting as a passenger in some car journeys along with other spare time gives me the chance to write a few blog posts, tweet some marketing links and check my fiverr gigs. It's important to keep an active present with things like this and most of my gigs offer services that I can produce in less than half an hour on my smartphone. Even if I need to conduct some research then a smartphone can take care of that. In fact, there's little that I can't produce at short notice.

I think that a slow build of what I do is the way forward. I've written and self-published several books now and I'm starting to sell my writing services more on fiverr. And writing is something that I really enjoy. If writing my books brings in a good income and writing for others can supplement that whilst I'm running an estate agency then I'll be very happy.

But it's getting to that next level that is taking that time. My reviews on fiverr have all been five star and my clients have been incredibly happy with my writing. I need to be able to turn a few gigs every now and again into several high-paying jobs a week. With my trust levels at their highest, I promote my gigs in my blogs and on Twitter to keep up the exposure levels. It's gaining exposure that will help to keep things moving on.

And it's research into this marketing exposure that's at the front of the thoughts in this blog. I have started to look at different ways if getting my blog exposed to a larger audience. For example, I've applied to have my mystery shop blog featured on the blogs section of mumsnet. Also my estate agency blog is featured on real-estate network. It's by having these extra outlets that I feel I can get my work noticed. By having my work noticed I can get more readers, more orders, more happy customers and the cycle continues. And that's how the theory goes.

A short blog today, but keeping the thought processes moving and the words flowing will always help.

Fiverr and RawShorts

-93

I've been back on the serendipity trail (blog) this week and I've found two great little sites that are helping me to earn money and self-publicise the work that I have been doing recently.

The sites that I am referring to are www.rawshorts.com and www.fiverr.com and I've found both sites to be a real help in moving forward with marketing.

I've mentioned before about using fiverr to get the covers designed for my Kindle ebooks and I find that for a medium such as the Kindle ebook, the designers come up with suitable fast designs that meet my needs. The things that fiverr offers are huge - from flyers, posters and banner ads to copywriting, translation and proofreading. There are thousands and thousands of people on there offering services for small and medium businesses. It's worth checking it out.

One of the people offering services is me! And I'm offering blog mentions on my football, retail and estate agency blogs or positive professional reviews on a website of the buyers choosing. The concept is simple - find a service you need, pay $5 to the seller and then receive the service in a couple of days.

My offering can be found at https://uk.fiverr.com/homeestates

Check it out!

The other website that I found on one of my meandering serendipity trips is RawShorts. This has a series of templates of short animated promotional videos for yout to edit and make into something that you can use yourself. The videos can be uploaded to YouTube and from there you can download the MP4 file and use it where you need it.

I have produced the video below to advertise my blog service on fiverr.com.

There are loads of videos to choose from and then you can edit away to add your own logo, own wording and own images to make it look like something that was made just for your brand. Again, I recommend that you try it out.
